Ms. Gebhard is responsible for the creation of e-business and e-learning strategies, and she has an MBA with concentration in e-business. Carlos Acosta Carlos Acosta is the Human Resources manager for Moldex Metrix and has been in human resources management in manufacturing companies in the Los Angeles area for over 40 years. As a manger in companies with a large Hispanic-American employee base, he has experienced first-hand the needs and challenges facing Spanish-speaking employees. He and Ms. Martinez collaborated to develop the user-friendly and culturally-sensitive content for Buenfuturo. Gabriela Hebin Gabriela Hebin is the Director of SpanTech Translations, which specializes in translating technical documentation. For Buenfuturo she translated the English content into Spanish. Ms. Hebin has been a translator and editor for the past ten years. She says that SpanTech will make you look good in any language. Jeffrey P. Ricker, CFA President of his own company for the past 16 years, Jeffrey P. Ricker is a chartered financial analyst (CFA) from San Francisco. He has a B.A. from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago. His participation with Buenfuturo includes developing equations for retirement planning tables and recommending the asset mix. He has over 20 years of experience designing investment strategies while specializing in microcaps, equity valuation, and market timing. He is happy to share a tip with you: Investigate before you buy. Jessica Baskin Taylor Jessica Baskin Taylor is a self-employed bilingual writer and editor. She has done writing and editing in both Spanish and English for a large corporate training company as well as for the Internet division of a national telecommunications firm. With an M.Ed. in Education, Ms. Taylor has taught and tutored Spanish at all levels, from pre-school through college, and has worked as a writer/editor for the past ten years. Her writing, editing, corporate training, and education skills are put to use by Buenfuturo in the form of editing all written materials, both printed and online. Alfred Klein, Esq. Rodi, Pollock, Pettker, Galbraith & Cahill J.D. University of California, Berkeley, 1971; B.A. in English, University of Michigan, 1968. Mr. Klein Specializes in representing and counseling management in labor and employment matters. He was an Instructor, Legal Writing and Research, University of California, Hastings College of the Law, San Francisco, California, 1973-1974. He is a lecturer and moderator and is listed in Who's Who in American Law, and Who's Who in California. He has been quoted on various labor and employment law topics in Newsweek, Business Week, USA Today, Los Angeles Times, Daily News, Orange County Register and Los Angeles Daily Journal. Mr. Klein has been Ms. Martinez legal and business advisor since 1995. He has provided vision, strategy, and advise related to Buenfuturo business matters and counsel on labor relations and contract negotiations. Anthony Paular Designer Anthony D. Paular brings many years of publishing experience to the table. Having filled roles from Graphic Artist to Art Director and Production Manager for a major educational publisher, Paular has a full range of knowledge of the design and printing process. Armed with a degree in Illustration from California State University, Long Beach, his designs are created with an artist's touch. John P. Bagley, CPA John Bagley earned his accounting degree from the University of Idaho and his Master's degree in Taxation from Pace University New York. He is a principal at Schuch, Bagley and Associates and has been Ms. Martinez's personal accountant since 1994. Mr. Bagley has been instrumental in advising Ms. Martinez on various business maters related to Buenfuturo, including tax planning, financial budgets, and capital expenditures, and more recently assisted in the formation of Buenfuturo, LLC. Kris Kahrs Kris Kahrs is one of the Internet's top e-business strategists, with extensive experience in the entertainment industry, non-profits, and Internet start-ups. With this knowledge she assisted Buenfuturo by providing insightful strategies and vision. As the appointed president of Webgrrls-LA, Kahrs successfully launched WGLA's coffee house online chats and internship programs with area universities, and grew membership by 95%. Prior to Webgrrls, she worked for Warner Bros. Consumer Products division helping to reduce their cost of sales from $10 million to $2 million while increasing product, as well as determining feasibility of licensing agreements with NASCAR, Morgan Creek Entertainment, and others. Prior to Warner Bros., she was recruited by NBC's cable and strategic development division in New York, where she played an integral role in NBC's launch into new media, working on strategic partnerships with Your Choice TV, TV-Azteca, and Microsoft. Kahrs holds a B.S. in Communications with minors in Russian, German, and French from Ithaca College. Karyn Zoldan Karyn Zoldan edited the English content for Buenfuturo. As president of Bridge Marketing for the past three years, she has been busy writing savvy Web content for small- to medium-sized businesses. As a freelance writer she has contributed to numerous online and print publications, including WeddingBells magazine, Arizona Daily Star, Inside Tucson Business, ZDTV, and Access magazine. Ms. Zoldan has been co-editor of Web Digest for Marketers for two years. Lance Stuetzle Lance Stuetzle is Buenfuturo's technical "right hand man." He provided endless input on the type of operating system to be used, bandwidth issues, and software administration. He has a B.S. in Telecommunications Technology from Mt. Sierra College and has five years of experience with telecommunications infrastructure, Internet server/Intranet consulting, WAN (wide area network), and LAN (local area network) consulting. Mr. Stuetzle's specialties include Broadband Linux router/firewall integration and Apache Web server configuration. |
